I’m enjoying on this amp named “DEVA” which is based on Fender Deluxe reverb amp. It is PTP handwired in India by Roy Chvat of Guru Amps (www.guruamplifiers.com). It’s schematic is little different for generating Plexi type organic sound. It has a Lush reverb sound and has a beautiful Acoustic characteristic tone. Some of the parts used in it are as follows: Mercury Magnetics Transformers Jensen C12N speaker Accutronics Reverb tank ( 3 spring ) Electro Harmonix Power Tube – 6V6 Hard Pine wood cabinet Fully buffered parallel effects loop. There are quite a few difference between the Deva and the Deluxe Reverb which would include everything from a much better filtered powered supply, stand off heater supply, a resistance circuit that gives a tube rectifier like response, a Plexi like front end for more tone response, improved Driver circuit, a low impedance cathode follower driven EQ, a parallel FX/Rev circuit. In fact the circuit has more similarities to the Deluxe 5E3 having a similar Cathode Biased Output section. Better too is the layout, abandoning the random grounding system used by Fender, better set of Transformers, Of course these old Fenders designs are over 40 years old so technical improvement is expected. This is a Chinese Ming style buffet table which is made of elm wood. Its front doors are made of burl wood. Its doors have gold brass hardware designed. Right now, this table can be used as a TV entertainment stand cabinet, it can be put flat screen LCD HDTV, the middle shelf can be put the VCR/DVD player, and the drawers can store your CD/DVDs. It is a very functional piece.

D-Lab Onyx Tube amp. I decided to mix this video up a bit and give your some classic Halloween fun! The amp has a very unique sound. 3 tubes, class A operation. Take a listen. This amp is 1 of a kind. Housed in an old Bogen Intercom wood cabinet. Cabinet reconditioned by my Uncle in TN. A true work of art. Video from the Homer Mill.

Up for auction is a “FONOVOX by LOEWE OPTA ~ MALLORCA – STEREO ~ Type 05842 W ~ Made in W. Germany”. This unit includes: short wave radio, stereo, and turntable. The FM stereo is in working and has great sound for its age! The turntable is not working. It has a beautiful wood cabinet and there is a drawer at the bottom for extra storage! The Fonovox is 31 3/8″ from top to bottom, 43 3/8″ from side to side, and 15 3/4″ from front to back. Picture this in your living or dining room!
